Clients & customers

Clients and contacts

A client is a person, agency or company your business supplies services for. 

Adding a new client:

  1. Click Add New
  2. Enter details
  3. Add a client code of your choosing if applicable
  4. Select ‘Client is Company’ if applicable. A new company will also be created and available in TimeCloud
  5. Select ‘Client is Agency’ if applicable. This is for businesses who get sent service requests from 3rd-party organisations. You can then filter various functions to only show agencies, which may be useful.

Contacts

Add a new contact if your client has staff or representatives you need to communicate with. This is useful if you have people who play a part in your business but are not directly employed by you. For example, you may have contacts at agencies who supply you with bookings. 

You can allow/refuse Contacts to sign in to their account and pay/create invoices.

Workforce

This is where you can create profiles for your workforce. You can set their employment status, and add a wide range of information such as car registration, contact details, hourly rate, next-of-kin and first aid training status.

You can also set whether or not each Admin can access Finance analytics
Onboarding questionnaires
Choose whether they can access onboarding questionnaires,
Equipment log
Set whether they can access the Equipment log or not
API
For IT Admins, you can allow them API Settings access. Regular office staff are unlikely to need this option.

All People can be deactivated at any time. Their associated data will remain untouched in the TimeCloud365 system.
